At the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time, Porsche will unveil a very special variant of the iconic 911: the new 911 Dakar. It will be the first two-door sports car from Porsche to offer off-road capabilities.
At first it was criticized, today it’s legendary: the rear of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 – known as the ducktail – has become an iconic part of the 911, allowing for huge performance leaps.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS has completed the 20.8-kilometer (12.94-mile) Nordschleife of the Nürburgring in 6:49.328 minutes – 10.6 seconds faster than the current 911 GT3. Behind the wheel was Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister, who was in-tensely involved in the development of the new flagship of the 911 series.
