Imagine an Australian motorsport legend arriving unannounced on your doorstep. Then imagine that he gets your heart racing as he puts the pedal to the metal in the latest Porsche Taycan. That’s precisely what happened to three lucky Taycan order holders.
Like hundreds of others, they’ve been patiently awaiting the arrival of the new Porsche Taycan in Australia and they were given a sneak peek prior to launch by none other than Porsche Ambassador Mark Webber.
The motorsport star surprised each owner close to where they live, arriving in a brand new Taycan. They were instantly enamoured with the Taycan and with Webber, as they got to be the first customers in Australia to drive the new all-electric Porsche sportscar.
After a quick change to let Mark move into the driver’s seat, it was off to a nearby racing circuit to put the Taycan through its paces. It didn’t disappoint as each hot lap showed exactly what Porsche’s latest sportscar is capable of. Behind the wheel, Webber didn’t hold back as the precision and power were all on show.
