Panamera and family

A sportscar as a family car – is that even possible? Germany's most well-known parent bloggers have now tested the new Porsche Panamera and discovered their own “Work-Drive Balance” in the process.

Stretched proportions, pronounced shoulders and a dynamic flyline – it is clear to see that the Panamera is a sportscar from the very first glance. However, upon looking inside the saloon, you will also notice that the car offers a large amount of space and comfort for four people, and with 500 litres of storage capacity it also offers a spacious luggage compartment. Perfect for a family, right?

Mummy and daddy bloggers from Germany tried to answer this question. In Leipzig–the production site of the new Panamera–these mummy and daddy bloggers had the opportunity to put the Gran Turismo through its paces. In order to give the bloggers an insight into the high-quality processing involved in producing the car, Porsche opened the gates to its usually well-guarded production facility at its site located in Saxony. In the body construction and assembly areas of the facility, the family experts were able to get a picture of the importance of quality and sustainable production for the new Panamera. This is because maximum processing quality also means a high degree of safety, which is a particularly important aspect for parents.

The fact that journeys can be made in a completely relaxed atmosphere in the Panamera's comfort mode is a crucial feature for mums and dads. Thanks to this feature, the daily trip to the nursery, school or to work is a pleasure. But even mummies and daddies want to let off some steam sometimes. That is why the bloggers were taken to the Porsche in-house racing track. Here it was clearly shown that more than ever, the Porsche Panamera combines two apparently opposing characteristics – the comfort of a luxurious family saloon and the performance of a true sportscar. This is the perfect “Work-Drive Balance”.
