Porsche supports aid programmes

The Aces for Charity fundraiser whereby Porsche traditionally supports charitable activities has been an integral part of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix for many years. For every ace struck during the tournament, the sports car manufacturer makes a donation to its charity partners, thus underlining its societal and social commitment.

The 46th edition of the long-standing tournament in 2023 reflected the “75 Years of Porsche Sports Cars” celebrations. To mark the anniversary and inspired by the first Porsche 356, the company donated 356 euro for every ace struck during the tournament. Up until the final, a total of 253 service winners were sent down. Porsche rounded the donation up to 120,000 euro. Karolina Pliskova played a major part in generating the impressive sum – the Czech, a regular in the Porsche Arena for many years now, hit 26 aces in her three matches alone.

The donation was divided up equally between the “Stiftung Agapedia” foundation, the regional “Landessportverband Baden-Württemberg” sports association and the “Ferry-Porsche-Stiftung” foundation. It went to supporting Ukraine aid programmes.
