Porsche celebrates with Make-A-Wish Australia

Porsche Cars Australia has celebrated 40 years of Make-A-Wish Australia’s life-changing work at the Night of Wishes Gala Ball in Melbourne.

Proudly presented by Porsche, this special black tie event honoured the important work performed by the leading not-for-profit charity, which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Held at Centrepiece in Melbourne last week, the gala event was hosted by much-loved television personality and National Patron of Make-A-Wish Australia, Melissa Doyle AM, and brought together a number of special guests, including philanthropists, partners, wish makers and many special supporters, including Emma Watkins, the popular children’s entertainer.

“Porsche is an enabler of dreams,” said Daniel Schmollinger, CEO and Managing Director of Porsche Cars Australia, “which makes our relationship with Make-A-Wish Australia and its immensely important work such a natural connection.

“Porsche is honoured to support Make-A-Wish Australia. On behalf of Australia’s official Porsche Centres and the entire Porsche Cars Australia team, we congratulate Make-A-Wish Australia on its vital work.”

The Make-A-Wish Australia’s Night of Wishes Gala Ball gave guests a special insight into the charity’s important work. The event’s immersive theming and heartfelt storytelling brought to life the joy, hope and imagination a single wish can spark in a child and the lasting impact it can create for families across Australia.
