Porsche GT Circle takes Pole Position

Porsche has introduced Australia’s new Porsche GT Circle community with two days of performance driving at the first-ever Porsche Pole Position GT Experience.

South Australia’s best driving roads and its two most exciting racetracks hosted the first Porsche Pole Position GT Experience this week, an exclusive two-day customer driving event for owners of Porsche GT sports cars such as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, 718 Cayman GT4 RS, and Taycan Turbo GT.

Open to Porsche GT sports car owners with specific advanced driving skills, the Porsche Pole Position GT Experience was also the official premiere event for the new Porsche GT Circle, the recently launched Porsche community dedicated to Porsche GT sports car owners who share a passion for performance driving.

The Adelaide 500 Street Circuit, home to international motor racing history, hosted day one of the Porsche Pole Position GT Experience. Guests enjoyed four hours of adrenalin-fuelled driving in their cars following a pre-drive briefing by Porsche Track Experience Chief Instructor, Luke Youlden, and special guest Jaxon Evans, a former Porsche Carrera Cup champion in Australia and France.

The 4.95-kilometre International circuit at The Bend Motorsport Park on day two offered the perfect setting to unleash the performance capabilities of the guests’ Porsche GT sports cars. The day included a special-guest speaker Sam Shahin, Managing Director of Shell V Power Motorsport Park at The Bend.

“Spirited driving in Porsche GT cars sits at the summit of any sport car lover’s dreams,” said Daniel Schmollinger, CEO and Managing Director of Porsche Cars Australia. “The first Porsche Pole Position GT Experience was the perfect opportunity to assemble Australia’s Porsche GT Circle and bring to life their cars’ full performance capabilities.”

The ultimate performance driving community

Porsche has established the Porsche GT Circle as a dedicated performance driving community for Porsche GT sports car owners. Porsche GT Circle communities have been established around the world and Australia recently became a host country, delivering the first three-day GT Circle experience of this kind.

The Porsche GT Circle immerses owners in their shared passion for Porsche and the exhilaration of high-performance driving with curated driving programs and events.

The dedicated Porsche GT Circle app also offers a digital home for this community. Here, members can access driving tutorials, behind-the-scenes articles and GT Circle events both in Australia and overseas. They can even ask certified experts from Manthey-Racing questions relating to vehicle set-up and personal preparation for driving.
