- Wehrlein third having started from pole position
- Saturday’s winner Nico Müller outside the points after contact
- 75 years of Porsche Motorsport celebrated in Berlin
Teammate Nico Müller finished P13 after a late-race collision while fighting for P5. Jake Dennis and Felipe Drugovich of customer team Andretti Formula E finished sixth and ninth, making it three Porsche-powered cars inside the top ten.
Former World Champion Wehrlein secured pole position for the 37-lap race at the former Tempelhof airport circuit but immediately dropped into the pack to manage energy in the highly efficient Porsche 99X Electric. Having taken his final Attack Mode earlier than his opponents, Wehrlein led towards the end of the race before slipping down to third on older tyres compared with his rivals. It marks the German’s fourth podium from eight races this season and his second rostrum in Berlin. The result and points for pole position moved Wehrlein back into the lead of the drivers’ standings by three points.
Müller had climbed up to P6 from P11 on the grid before the collision. Formula E’s newest race winner was unable to score further points, but Porsche continues to lead the teams’ and manufacturers’ standings.

Racing for Charity
Under the motto Racing for Charity, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG is making a strong social statement in the current Formula E season, supporting seriously ill children worldwide. For every race lap completed by its two factory-run Porsche 99X Electric, the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer donates 400 euros to the charitable organizations Kinderherzen retten e.V., Interplast Germany e.V., and the Ferry Porsche Foundation. After Pascal Wehrlein and Nico Müller completed the maximum number of laps at the eighth race of the season in Berlin, the donation amount stands at 216,000 Euro.
On the occasion of the Berlin E-Prix, Formula E also joined the effort for a good cause, and as part of its Better Futures Fund, the all-electric World Championship makes a separate donation of 25,000 euros to the charitable organisations. Through its own funding programme, Formula E supports charities and projects in the host countries of its races.
Comments on the Berlin E-Prix
Florian Modlinger, Director Factory Motorsport Formula E: “Second race of the weekend in Berlin and another podium – this time for Pascal, including pole position as well, which brings very important points for the championship. From Nico’s side, he delivered a strong race starting from P11. While fighting for P5, he suffered a collision. Otherwise, he would have been on course for a top‑five result. Overall, it was a very strong weekend for us, increasing our advantage in both the teams’ and manufacturers’ standings. A big thank you to all the fans who supported us this weekend and everyone in the team, both at the track and back at the factory.”
Pascal Wehrlein, Porsche factory driver (#94): “A podium was the maximum we could achieve today. Starting from the front, I tried to save as much energy as possible, but Evans and Rowland ahead of me started from the back of the grid and simply had a bit more energy at the end. Overall, it was a very good day with pole position and a podium. I’m still a bit disappointed about yesterday, but the important thing was to move on and focus on today – and that’s what we did. Thanks to the team: the car was amazing all weekend, almost unbeatable. Congratulations to everyone, and we’re already looking forward to Monaco.”
Nico Müller, Porsche factory driver (#51): “Day two in Berlin and more points for the team – congratulations to Pascal on the podium. On my side, things were looking pretty good at times, but then contact and a damaged car changed the situation. Unfortunately, after that there wasn’t much more we could do. No points for me, but overall it was an awesome weekend: plenty of points for the team, my first win yesterday, and that’s the momentum we’re going to take into the next part of the season.”
