WEC: Rookie test in Bahrain

The rookie test allows young talents to test the cars of the works teams. Porsche is also inviting two junior GT drivers to Bahrain.

Saturday November 21 marks the last WEC race of the season. One day later, the manufacturers are inviting their up-and-coming pilots to Bahrain. This will give drivers who have previously not taken part in the long-distance championships the chance to try out their manufacturers’ racing cars.

The Porsche Team Manthey will also be making its vehicles available. It has now been decided who will be testing the 911 RSR: Philipp Eng (Austria), Champion of Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, as well as Nick Catsburg (Netherlands), GT and touring car specialist.

More on this soon in the Porsche Newsroom.
