23 metres high, glazed and facing north: that is the Porsche Museum, standing immediately next to the Porsche headquarters in Zuffenhausen. Since January 2009, over 80 vehicles – from the first Porsche designs through to the latest generation of the Porsche 911 – have been on show in the 5,600 square metre exhibition area futuristically designed by the Vienna architects office of Delugan Meissl.

Whereas the bold architecture of the building reflects the uniqueness, self-assurance and awareness of traditions of Porsche, the exhibition keeps the company history alive with sports cars ready to spring into action at any time taken from the "Museum on Wheels".
