“That’s how I like it”: Paul Ripke enjoyed his visit to the first tournament day of the 41st European Open to the full – from the first moment. Starting in Hamburg, the content creator drove his 911 G model built in 1981, his own year of birth, to the tournament venue. Once there, he treated himself to the diverse activities associated with the DP World Tour event for professional golfers. They included the all-round brand experience of the Official Automotive Partner, Porsche.

Special live experience

Paul Ripke took advantage of the exclusive Porsche Parking not far from the entrance and enjoyed himself in the Porsche Owners‘ Garden right next to the 17th green which included a breathtaking view of the players’ attempts to win the coveted hole-in-one prize, a Taycan Turbo S. In the video, the content creator shows his favourite place on the course and takes up the offer to test drive the new Taycan Turbo Cross Tursimo on the roads around the tournament site.

The 2024 European Open provides Porsche customers and all tournament visitors with a special live experience up until 2 June. It takes in the range of vehicles on display in the grounds, including a 911 S/T in Shore Blue Metallic and a new Macan 4 in Provence – the first fully-electric SUV from Porsche which was premiered at the start of the year. On an Instagram wall close to both models, people can take personal memory photos. Porsche is additionally providing a courtesy electric car fleet for players and VIP guests.

As a Porsche Golf Circle member, Paul Ripke has already participated in the European Open Pro-Am tournament which is a part of an international Community event for golf-loving Porsche customers. In his own words, he enjoyed a “perfect day of golf”.
