Porsche Platica – a community-focused, Porsche-centric gathering organized by Harper Porsche of Knoxville, Tennessee – has announced the date for next year’s event, which will take place on May 3, 2026.
Following a successful curation of special Porsche models this past May, including 18 Carrera GT models, the team behind the gathering is now turning their attention to the limited production 911 R model of 1967, and the 2016 911 R variant that was inspired by it.
“This year, we were proud to assemble 18 Carrera GT models – possibly the largest gathering of this supercar in the world. We hope to repeat this feat next year with the 911 R, and are looking forward to spending an exciting and memorable day with our partners and Porsche enthusiasts” said Shannon Harper, President and Dealer Principle of Harper Porsche.
The 2025 event welcomed over 3,500 attendees who were able to witness approximately 60 rare Porsche vehicles on display.
“Platica is a great example of the thriving passion for Porsche that is alive and well in the automotive community” added John Cappella, Executive Vice-President and COO of Porsche Cars North America. “The curated display of 18 Carrera GT models was truly a special moment to behold, and I’m looking forward to the next event.”
