Driving around the ADAC Driving Safety Centre in Luneburg just south of Hamburg, the nine-time US PGA Tour winner put the limits of his driving skills to the test in a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and in doing so felt “like a kid again.”

Kuchar was also impressed by his Porsche driving instructor Jussi Kumpumäki. Sitting in the passenger seat, the golfer got first-hand experience of the 520 bhp (911 GT3 RS: Fuel consumption combined 13.2 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 303 g/km) vehicle’s racing capabilities. “These cars are made to race,” said the American. After a number of drifts and a slick slalom run, the professional driver was also full of praise for Kuchar saying, “Matt really surprised me. He did very well indeed.”
