sport auto-Awards: triumph for Porsche

After 13,601 readers of the motoring magazine “sport auto” selected their favourite sports car, it is now time for the prizes to be presented. The great victor in this ballot is Porsche.

Porsche tops seven out of 15 series categories in this year’s sport auto awards – and is therefore the most successful manufacturer:

Cabriolets up to 50,000 euros: Porsche Boxster

Cabriolets up to 100,000 euros: Porsche Boxster GTS

Cabriolets up to 150,000 euros: Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS

Cabriolets over 150,000 euros: Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet

Coupés up to 100,000 euros: Porsche Cayman GT4

Coupés over 150,000 euros: Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Super sports cars: Porsche 911 Turbo S

Best customer sports programme: Carrera Cup

The awards were presented on Monday 19 October in the restaurant CUBE in the Stuttgart art museum. Other manufacturers also had good cause to celebrate: BMW secured four class wins, Audi two and Mercedes one.
