The 911 is and remains the most popular sports car. For the fourth time in succession, ams readers voted the 911 into first place within this category of “Best Cars”. Porsche also led the field in the Convertibles section. Receiving 15.5 per cent of the votes cast, the 911 Cabriolet and 911 Targa (ams combines the two derivatives) made it into first place, exactly as they did last year. The Macan was also able to claim a position on the podium, securing third place among the large SUVs/off-road vehicles.
The trophies were presented today in Stuttgart. Attending the awards ceremony alongside the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr. Wolfgang Porsche were Chairman of the Executive Board Oliver Blume and Member of the Executive Board responsible for Human Resources Andreas Haffner.
