The Heritage Experience is more than just a journey. It is an immersion into rituals, rhythms and realities that are different - that is precisely why they are so valuable. In Iceland, we not only encounter raw nature and deep silence, but also people whose lives are characterized by harmony with both.
Iceland. Where skyr grows from patience. Tomatoes sprout here under the aurora borealis. Here, stones tell stories - and waterfalls do not remain silent. We visit places that are not only beautiful, but tangible. Places shaped by generations who knew that you can only afford the future if you take your origins seriously.
Day one becomes an introduction to a culture that shapes the essential from the simple. Day two is a tribute to a nature that doesn't have to be loud to make an impression.
Day 1 - Reykjavik & surroundings
- Skyrland: Skyr is more than just yoghurt - it is a piece of identity. A cultural asset of Iceland. Here we learn how nature becomes tradition.
- Friðheimar Farm: Tomatoes from Iceland? Sounds like a contradiction in terms, but it's a lesson in sustainable innovation. Between the scent of basil and greenhouse light, lunch is served with attitude.
- Commonwealth Farm: Not a Viking village for tourists - but a window into the lives of previous generations, identity and culture. Genuine. Honest. Earthy.
- Þingvellir National Park: Where nature writes history. The oldest surviving place of parliamentary assembly - and a place that lets the big picture breathe.
Day 2 – Scenic Tour of South Iceland
- Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss: Waterfalls from another world. Loud, quiet, alive.
- Eyjafjallajökull & Pétursey : The volcano that stopped Europe. A rock that whispers stories.
- Vík & Black Beaches: Where lava turns to sand – and nature stages itself.
