André Lotterer

André Lotterer can look back on a long and successful motorsport career. Whether in Europe or Asia, Formula or GT racing, wherever Lotterer drives, he is successful – this includes Formula E, in which he made his debut in 2017 before “coming home” to Porsche two years later.

“We are going to make Formula E history,” Lotterer predicted at the time. A few months later, he was proved right. He claimed the team’s first podium finish in its first ever race in Diriyah – a feat that no other manufacturer had achieved since Season 2.

In season 8, Lotterer celebrated his best Formula E result to date when he completed a double victory for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team with a second-place finish in Mexico while his team-mate Pascal Wehrlein claimed the first-ever Formula E victory for Porsche.

During the 2023 season, Lotterer drove the Porsche 99X Electric for Porsche’s customer team Avalanche Andretti. He returns to the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team as a test and reserve driver in 2024 while focusing on his main racing commitment in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
