Marc Meurer is the new Managing Director of Porsche France
Management change in the French market: Porsche France, a subsidiary of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG based in Roissy, France, has appointed Marc Meurer as its Managing Director with effect from February 1, 2018.
Meurer succeeds Marc Ouayoun, who took over the leadership of Porsche Cars Canada at the start of the year.
Meurer’s most recent role was Managing Director for Audi France; before that, he was employed as Marketing Director for Volkswagen France. “In Marc Meurer, we have gained a Managing Director who has extensive experience in the French market. Through his roles at Audi and Volkswagen, he brings the expertise required to continue to lead our subsidiary in France with success,” says Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board responsible for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG. “We would like to thank Marc Ouayoun for his commitment and wish him all the best in his new role in the Canadian market.”
August Achleitner will hand over responsibility for 911 model series to Frank-Steffen Walliser in Q1 2019.
