His predecessor, Jens Puttfarcken (53), will be taking over as the Managing Director of Porsche China and Porsche Hong Kong from July 1, 2018. Karsten Sohns will assume management of the German market on an interim basis. Pollich will be succeeded in Great Britain on July 15, 2018 by Marcus Eckermann (50), previously Managing Director of Porsche’s sales organisation for Central and Eastern Europe.

Many years of professional experience at Porsche
Alexander Pollich has been head of the British sales organisation since the start of 2018 following more than four years in the same role at Porsche Cars Canada. Before that, he was Vice President Sales Network Management and Development. Jens Puttfarcken, who was at the top of the German sales company for three years, previously worked at Porsche as an After Sales Manager, Customer Relations Manager and Sales Manager for Porsche subsidiaries around the world. Marcus Eckermann has spent ten years as Managing Director of Porsche Central and Eastern Europe, prior to which he worked in various sales positions at Porsche AG.
