Porsche Connect Partner Services: Added value with attractive digital services

With Porsche Connect Partner Services, Porsche creates customer-centric added value: Porsche drivers can enhance their experience with digital services from selected partners - using personalized vehicle data. This turns a Porsche into a platform for innovative, data-based services.

Porsche Connect Partner Services (PCPS) enable an attractive portfolio of digital partner services using the customer's own vehicle data. The following services, among others, are already available to Porsche customers today:

Smart Insurance

In cooperation with the insurance company HDI, Porsche Financial Services offers the mileage-based insurance tariff Porsche CarPolicy Flex in Germany. The insurance premium is calculated based on the actual kilometers driven, with monthly billing and the option to cancel. This flexibility sets the tariff apart from many other offers and always gives full control over the vehicle insurance. The mileage is transmitted directly from the vehicle - no additional hardware or manual entries are necessary. No further data is transmitted to the insurance company.

Additional Digital Services

By providing charging and driving data from their own vehicle to selected partners, Porsche drivers can benefit from numerous digital services. These include for example additional electric mobility services such as Tronity and EEVEE Mobility, which provide a transparent overview of charging sessions. Another type are electronic driving logbooks from providers such as AutoLogg.

Smart Charging

The term smart charging refers to innovations that are made possible by the exchange of data between vehicles, grid operators, energy suppliers and other players in the energy market, thus creating intelligent charging solutions. One example of this is dynamic electricity tariffs that are based on price movements on the electricity exchanges. The use of such tariffs can help to intelligently reduce charging costs and at the same time make a contribution to the green energy transition. Porsche is therefore currently working on making dynamic electricity tariffs convenient and safe to use for Porsche electric vehicles.

Data Protection

Porsche provides personalized vehicle data for these partner services in compliance with the highest data protection standards. Porsche customers always retain control over their data and actively decide which partners may access which vehicle data and for what purpose. This consent must be given explicitly and can be revoked at any time.

"Privacy that focuses on the digital self-determination of our customers is, in our view, the prerequisite for our customers to trust the diverse data-based services they can use in our vehicles. That's why our customers' data sovereignty is our top priority," says Christian Völkel, Chief Privacy Officer at Porsche AG.
