Since opening in 2015, Porsche Experience Center Atlanta (PEC ATL) has become more than a track—it’s the heart of Porsche in the U.S. Located at One Porsche Drive, home to Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), PEC ATL offers a fully immersive brand experience for Porsche customers, automotive enthusiasts and fans, as well as now and again becoming the home to a band of movie superheroes.
Since 1998, PCNA has called Atlanta its home. However, in 2010, there were dreams of building something that the community could be a part of, and after investigating more than 70 options across three states, Porsche chose to set down roots adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the world's busiest airport – a two-hour flight away for approximately 80 percent of the U.S. population.
Developing the site was a huge undertaking - 650 foundation piles, 27,000 cubic yards of concrete, and 500 tons of steel went into building One Porsche Drive. And the statistics don’t end there…
- 540,472 guests have visited PEC ATL since opening in 2015.
- $128 million+ invested into the full campus, including the Experience Center, headquarters offices, and Porsche Classic U.S. headquarters.
- Two driver development tracks: The original 1.6-mile course and the 2023 West Track, designed by Tilke with elements inspired by Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in California, the Nürburgring -Nordschleife in Germany, and the Tail of the Dragon in the Smoky Mountains. Together, they offer up to 2.9 miles of combined driving experiences.
- 58 acres of real estate, purpose-built for Porsche customers, enthusiasts, and partners
- 800+ employees now work at One Porsche Drive—an aspirational workplace designed to reflect the passion and performance that drives Porsche.
- 13,000 square feet of flexible event space that hosts everything from corporate meetings and brand activations to weddings, receptions, proms, plus major film and television productions.
- 356: The name of PEC ATL’s fine dining destination, Restaurant 356, open to the public by reservation and offering panoramic views of the driver-development track as well as the runways of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
- 200+ rare vehicles have been featured in the Porsche Heritage Gallery. Rotating displays of historically significant models focus on the brand’s motorsport and design legacy, with new exhibitions curated every six months.
- 38 world-famous tracks and 23 Porsche models are available in the Simulator Lab, where guests can virtually drive everything from Watkins Glen to the Nürburgring in vehicles like the 911 GT3 R and 919 Hybrid.
- 20 film and television productions have featured One Porsche Drive, drawn by its striking architecture and unique setting.
From its groundbreaking to today, PEC ATL has welcomed hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts to experience the passion, energy and performance that defines Porsche. We look forward to the next ten years and beyond.
