Spectators at the prestigious WTA 1000 tournament in the US state of Ohio that is once again being supported by Porsche as the official automobile partner will today enjoy a thrilling match of the generations. The 40-year-old Williams has won 23 Grand Slams in her outstanding career and the 19-year-old Raducanu caused a major surprise when claiming her first win at last year's US Open in New York. It will most probably be the first and only meeting between the tennis stars as Williams recently announced she will be retiring after the US Open.

"I'm really looking forward to it. It's an amazing opportunity and a great gift to play probably the best tennis player of all time on her way out from the sport," said the British Porsche Brand Ambassador for whom the match is a dream come true. "It's probably going to be my last opportunity to ever play her. Whatever happens, I think it's going to be a really good experience for me and something that I will remember for the rest of my life."

The match is scheduled for 7.00 pm local (1.00 am CEST) in Cincinnati.
