All information about the Porsche works driver can be found here.
André Lotterer has more than one place he calls home: In Germany, the town of Renningen is his first port of call, just a stone’s throw from Weissach and the home of his mother’s side of the family. Alongside the family outposts and his testing and racing commitments, Lotterer commutes between his homes in Monaco and Belgium. After a year as a Formula One test driver (2002), his life was centred around Japan, where he drove in Formula Nippon (today Super Formula) and Super GT. In 2009 he returned to Europe. He secured overall victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours three times and the WEC title once. Parallel to this, the Duisburg-born racer continued his single-seater career in Japan. In 2014 he made a brief excursion into Formula 1. In 2017 Lotterer competed for Porsche, and in the 2017/2018 season he contested Formula E. In the 2019/2020 season Lotterer will contest the FIA Formula E for Porsche as the second driver alongside Neel Jani.
