In close collaboration with the “Deutsche Tennis Bund” (DTB – the German Tennis Association), the primary intention of the support is to make the set-up for talented juniors more professional by enhancing individual coaching and guidance both when practicing and at tournaments. Through the intensive system of fostering promising youngsters, Porsche would like to give such players help when taking their difficult first steps on the professional tour.

This season Nastasja Schunk (year of birth: 2003), Noma Noha Akugue (2003) and Ella Seidel (2005) will again be supported in the Porsche Talent Team. Newcomers to the team are Julia Stusek (2008), Sonja Zhenikhova (2008) and Mariella Thamm (2009). They have been given assistance up to now on their way to a career in professional tennis by the DTB and its premium partner Porsche in the Porsche Junior Team. The development of their talents should help them to now also find their feet on the high-class WTA Tour.
