Udo Lindenberg's new album 'Stärker als die Zeit' (Stronger Than Time) is released. The first single is already out. So is the associated video – with a supporting role in it for Porsche. Take a look!
"Es geht nicht immer geradeaus, manchmal geht es auch nach unten" (Life doesn't always run smooth, sometimes it also has its downs) – is the opening line of Lindenberg's new song 'Durch die schweren Zeiten' (Through The Tough Times). The German cult rocker knows what he's talking about. During his career he has experienced a lot, mastering both highs and lows. However, since his comeback eight years ago it's been a case of continual success. During this period, awards have flooded in: 11 times gold, 5 times platinum and two Echos for the MTV Unplugged album 'Live from the Hotel Atlantic' alone.
The new record 'Stronger Than Time' – released on April 29 – looks back over this phase. The theme: immortality. For the video for the first single from the album the 70-year-old got Kim Frank on board – responsible for direction, camera work and production. But that was not all. The Porsche fan also wanted to have a sports car from Zuffenhausen in it. And thus the 911 Carrera Speedster from 1988 got a supporting role.
