The Technical Division will expand to include local procurement and quality assurance activities and will now operate under the name "China One R&D", reporting to Porsche China CEO. This step aims to align the sports car manufacturer's products and services even more closely with the needs of the Chinese customers.

Li Nan has previously held senior positions at Mercedes-Benz. His extensive experience in the areas of Infotainment, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence is expected to help further advance product development and customer orientation in this important market. To ensure a seamless integration of the development work in Shanghai and the headquarters in Weissach, Li Nan has been working at the central development site in Germany for the last six months. He reported directly to Sajjad Khan and worked closely with teams from across a number of areas. The intention was to create synergies and ensure a seamless transfer of knowledge.
