Between 1964 and 1971, Rudi Lins started at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Targa Florio in Sicily. He won the European Hill Climb Championship for sports cars in a Porsche Carrera 6. Today, the former works driver turns 80.

The Daytona winners and championship leaders Felipe Nasr and Dane Cameron beat their rivals to the finish line after a gripping and rain-sodden six-hour race. The sister car driven by Nick Tandy and Mathieu Jaminet wrapped up the day in third place.
