New 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric joins gas-powered and plug-in hybrid Cayenne Coupe variants

No matter the powertrain, the Cayenne Coupe is the stylish, performance-focused all-rounder with a wide range of versatility.

ATLANTA. The iconic 911 “flyline” and striking proportions come together to define the new Cayenne Coupe Electric models, which are among the most emotive and sporty vehicles in the SUV segment – not only in terms of design but also in outstanding E-Performance. Since its entry into the market in 2019, the Coupe variants of the Cayenne have continuously increased in share. For 2025, the Cayenne Coupe body style represented 40% of share for the US market.

Design

The Cayenne Coupe Electric models combine commanding presence with the iconic styling of the flyline derived from the Porsche 911. It features a unique roof design, with a new windshield specific to the coupe. The gently sloping roofline sweeps elegantly over the car’s broad shoulders, giving the Cayenne Coupe Electric a particularly sporty appearance.

The adaptive rear spoiler blends harmoniously with the body, while the flush rear window emphasizes width and creates a clean look. Precisely drawn lines, broad proportions and high-gloss black window surrounds form a design that exudes sportiness in every detail – extroverted and clearly positioned: a Porsche sports car through and through.

Performance

All variants of the Cayenne Coupe Electric utilize the same 800-volt powertrain and adaptive two-chamber, two-valve air suspension concept as its respective SUV counterparts. With launch control, the Cayenne Coupe Electric can send 435 hp and 615 ft.-lbs. of torque to all four wheels. At the top end of the range, the Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric generates up to 1,139 hp and 1,106 ft.-lbs. of torque, while the Cayenne S Coupe makes 657 hp and 796 ft.-lbs. of torque when using launch control. Rear-axle steering is optional on all models, while electro-hydraulic Active Ride suspension and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus options are only available on S and Turbo models.

Max Power Max Torque 0-60 Top Track Speed
Cayenne Coupe 325 kW (435 hp) 615 ft.-lbs. 4.5 s 143 mph
Cayenne S Coupe 490 kW (657 hp) 796 ft.-lbs. 3.6 s 155 mph
Cayenne Turbo Coupe 850 kW (1139 hp) 1106 ft.-lbs. 2.4 s 162 mph

Charging performance is also a priority for Porsche, and the Cayenne Coupe Electric models share their exemplary capabilities with the SUVs. A NACS port sits within the drivers-side rear fender, while a traditional J1772 AC port is on the passenger-side rear fender for level 2 charging requirements. When connected to a compatible charging station that can output at least 400 kW at 800 volts, the Cayenne Coupe Electric’s 113 kWh battery can be charged from 10-80% in less than 16 minutes under ideal conditions. A CCS adapter is included as standard.

Aerodynamics

The coupe body style with its sloping roofline further enhances aerodynamic efficiency. In addition, the roof height of the Cayenne Coupe Electric is 24 millimeters lower than the SUV and boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.23 (SUV: 0.25). The Porsche Active Aerodynamics system, which features cooling-air flaps and an adaptive spoiler, optimizes efficiency, downforce, and cooling. Like the Cayenne Turbo Electric SUV, the Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric also features active side aeroblades to help reduce drag.

The rear seat system (available either as a two-seat or a 2+1 configuration) offers two-way electric adjustment. The rear seat backrests can be folded forward at the touch of the button from the luggage compartment. The cargo area cover can be stowed beneath the load space floor when not in use, and a front luggage compartment provides even further storage. The Cayenne Coupe Electric has a towing capacity of up to 7,716 lbs. and can be optionally equipped with an Off-Road Package which improves approach angle.
