The TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team excelled in a race where Attack Mode timings and a late red flag influenced the final positions. Wehrlein climbed from ninth on the grid to win, also claiming the point for the fastest race lap. Da Costa, who started from P3, was comfortably leading the race towards the end when a mid-field crash and the subsequent standing restart negated his advantage resulting in third place.

Andretti Formula E’s Nico Müller finished 4th having also led the race. His teammate and former World Champion Jake Dennis came home 9th in the fourth Porsche 99X Electric. With Dan Ticktum of the other customer team Cupra Kiro in 7th, five of the six highly efficient Porsche cars finished in the top ten.
The Miami E-Prix win marks the third major victory for Porsche Motorsport in Florida within eleven weeks. It came after the other factory team, Porsche Penske Motorsport, claimed both the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring with the Porsche 963.
António Félix da Costa is now second in the Drivers’ Championship with Pascal Wehrlein in third. TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E has regained the lead in the team standings.
Comments on the Miami E-Prix
Florian Modlinger, Director Factory Motorsport Formula E: \"An amazing double podium here in Miami on a very cool track. After a great result in qualifying with António in P3 and Pascal in P9 we are really happy with the win and the podium. You could see how strong António was when he took the six-minute attack mode but then the safety car came out and compromised his race. I think as a team we managed to do our best with the circumstances. A win and P3 is a mega result and on top having three Porsche in the top four and five Porsche in the top nine is an amazing result for Porsche. We’re already looking forward to Monaco and racing again.\"
Pascal Wehrlein, Porsche factory driver (#1): \"What a crazy race! Qualifying didn’t go to plan with P9 when I was unlucky again with dirt on track after two purple sectors, but watching the race unfold and knowing what happened in the race I think we were both good for the podium. We had a very good strategy but in the end also luck to finish first. I’m very happy, it’s a good result for the team.\"
António Félix da Costa, Porsche factory driver (#13): \"It’s a podium, but this one hurts a little. We’ve done the perfect race. We managed our energy and our strategy perfectly with the team. The Attack Mode calls were amazing. When we took that last Attack Mode with a three second gap and the safety car came out it meant it would be impossible to keep cars behind. That was very painful. Nonetheless it’s a podium for both team cars and we are closing up to the championship leader. We will try to avenge this one in Monaco.\"
