FIA WEC: Porsche GT Team with a podium

After a gripping race at Spa-Francorchamps, the Porsche GT Team has started into the FIA Sports Car World Endurance Championship (WEC) season with second and fourth place. Kévin Estre and Michael Christensen scored second in the #92 car and narrowly missed out on clinching the maiden WEC victory for the new Porsche 911 RSR.

Porsche GT Team starts in Spa from second grid row

Porsche heads into the opening round of the Sports Car FIA World Endurance Championship on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps today from the second grid row. In a breathtakingly close qualifying, Gianmaria Bruni and Richard Lietz set the third quickest time with their 911 RSR, just 87-thousandths of a second off pole position.
