On June 16, the 86th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours takes off. This weekend’s official pre-test marked the start of the critical phase for the world’s toughest automobile race.

Porsche customer teams have secured a triple pole in the Top 30 Qualifying for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. Laurens Vanthoor planted the Porsche 911 GT3 R on pole position with a stunning time of 8:09.105 minutes.
After a gripping race at Spa-Francorchamps, the Porsche GT Team has started into the FIA Sports Car World Endurance Championship (WEC) season with second and fourth place. Kévin Estre and Michael Christensen scored second in the #92 car and narrowly missed out on clinching the maiden WEC victory for the new Porsche 911 RSR.
