After test drives on the circuits of Valencia, Aragon, Vallelunga and Paul Ricard, Porsche now will present the new 919 Hybrid on March 31 at 14:00 hrs in public. Venue is the high-speed race track in Monza, Italy, set in the famous Royal Park close to Milan.
The two Porsche 919 Hybrids will be entering the 2017 season with the starting numbers 1 and 2 as they look to defend their title in the FIA World Endurance Championship, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans as the highlight of the series.
After winning the manufacturers’ world championship in Shanghai, Porsche has now also defended the drivers’ world championship at the finale of the FIA WEC in Bahrain.
At the six-hour race in Bahrain the Porsche trio of Romain Dumas, Marc Lieb and Neel Jani secured the drivers’ title in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
