In both free practice sessions at the Nürburgring at the fourth of nine rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) a Porsche 919 Hybrid has topped the time sheets.
The Porsche Team with the innovative 919 Hybrid has secured the 18th pole position in total for the brand at the Le Mans 24-Hours. The best Porsche 911 RSR takes up the prestigious race from the fourth GT grid row.

A Porsche has set the fastest lap time on the first day of practice for round two of the FIA WEC in Spa-Francorchamps. For the first time the two 919 Hybrids have run with the aerodynamic package which is designed for the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The 919 Hybrid crossed the finish line in second place – right behind the Audi R18. This car was disqualified retroactively by the FIA. Audi wanted to file an appeal but has now chosen not to.
