Doha | Porsche Centre Doha, Al Boraq Automobiles treated Porsche’s GT customers, motorsport enthusiasts and the Porsche community in Qatar to a special reveal of the highly desirable Porsche 911 GT3 equipped with the Manthey Kit just one day after its global launch in Dubai at Icons of Porsche.
Due in Qatar by March 2026, the Manthey Kit will be offered as an addition to the 911 GT3 offering components that go beyond the level of the Weissach Package, specifically aimed at customers with a keen passion for driving on track. It was exclusively revealed to guests and current owners who will also be able to retrospectively fit it to their 911 GT3 vehicles.
“Introducing the 911 GT3 Manthey Kit to our customers in Qatar so soon after its world premiere reflects our commitment to delivering the very best of Porsche innovation to our community,” said Asia Al Shishany, Marketing Manager, Porsche Centre Doha.
“The excitement and curiosity we witnessed from GT owners and motorsport enthusiasts reaffirm that Qatar has one of the most passionate Porsche audiences in the region. This showcase brought them closer to motorsport engineering at its finest,” said Shishany.
The Manthey Kit includes aerodynamic improvements which deliver up to 540kg of downforce in its track setup as well as optimized spring rates for sharpened handling balance, steel-sleeved brake lines and racing brake pads for improved feedback and control as well as carbon and illuminated accessories with Manthey signature elements.
Without any mechanical modifications to its engine or drivetrain, a 911 GT3 with the Manthey Kit lapped the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife in 6:52.981 minutes, almost 2.8 seconds faster than its predecessor.
At Porsche Centre Doha, guests were given a live technical walk-through of the Manthey Kit’s performance enhancements, while Manthey representatives conducted specialized technical training sessions for the Porsche Centre Doha aftersales team, preparing them for certified installation and customer support.
“The Manthey Kit represents the next level of precision and performance for the 911 GT3. We were pleased to provide the Porsche Centre Doha team with in-depth technical training, ensuring full readiness to support customers once the kit becomes available,” said Michael Grassl, PAG Specialist and Manthey Technical Representative.
“The interest and engagement from enthusiasts here in Qatar highlight the growing demand for factory-approved motorsport enhancements and this event demonstrated how well the Manthey philosophy resonates with Porsche drivers in this market,” Grassl added.
