Porsche Morocco celebrates third edition of the Porsche Festival with 911 GT3 debut

Porsche Morocco welcomed more than 650 passionate fans and 300 Porsches for the third edition of the Porsche Festival, an annual get-together that is the biggest gathering of sports cars in Morocco. A celebration of sports, this year honoured the new changes and passion that bring the Porsche community together.

Morocco | This third edition stood out through its visual and emotional universe inspired by both the new 911 GT3 and the brand’s tagline: 'Porsche. There is no substitute.'. These words embody the unique emotions binding the global Porsche community together. And these emotions were certainly felt at the festival.

The event had a double theme, part exhibition and part driving. The Paddock of the Icons, set up at centre stage, offered a remarkable showcase of three 911 GT3 models, including a Touring version, sharing the spotlight with exceptional vehicles such as the 911 Dakar, 911 Targa, Cayenne, and Macan from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Two of the models on display found their buyer the very same day, highlighting the commercial success and enthusiasm sparked by the event.

Behind this, the esplanade hosted an intergenerational line-up of customers’ vehicles, while serving as an access point to different areas dedicated to dynamic activities. Participants were able to enjoy the UTAC facilities (Morocco Mobility and Automotive Center) for turns at driving on fast tracks, off-road routes, and dynamic driving, including launch control, wet drives, and drag racing.

In parallel, the 4.480 km-long FIA-certified racetrack was reserved for the occasion, allowing attendees to tackle high-speed driving in professional conditions. Certified instructors from Porsche and UTAC supervised each session to ensure safety and progress.

The event also offered off-track experiences, including speed simulators and reflex games. Visitors were able to leave a lasting memory of their presence by signing a giant crest, taking a drive-thru-style photo in front of the stage, and going home with souvenirs selected from the pop-up store.

“Seeing the Porsche community come together, share experiences and have fun both on and off the track shows just how much this experience is more than a simple event. It acts as an anchor, a shared memory which helps forge bonds among the community and foster brand loyalty,” said Asmaa Habibi, Communications & CPM Officer at Porsche Morocco.

The national launch of the new 911 GT3 was one of the highlights of the festival. Presented to the Moroccan public here, the GT3 illustrates the unbridled sport philosophy pursued by Porsche, with its 510 PS, 450 Nm torque, top speed of 313 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

“This third edition of the Porsche Festival is a perfect illustration of what drives our community: passion, sport, and dreams. Watching all these enthusiasts coming together around emblematic models and new releases like the 911 GT3 is a major point of pride for Porsche Morocco,” said Sébastien Poncet, Brand Manager for Porsche Morocco.

“Looking at more than the numbers, the festival is first and foremost a story of shared passion. Each edition proves that the Porsche Morocco community is constantly growing, while also becoming more tight-knit around shared values: performance, elegance, and emotion. Seeing the participants’ excitement as they hear the GT3 is the best reward our team could ask for,” said Meriem El Rhazi, Marketing & Communications Manager at Porsche Morocco.
