Morocco | As collectible sports cars go, there is rare, there is limited and then there is Porsche’s Heritage Design strategy which has recently added just the third tailored 911 model since 2020 which has now been delivered to Porsche Morocco.
The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 Special Edition is the third of four ‘Icons of Cool’ models that began with the Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition of 2020 and the 911 Sport Classic of 2022 of which Porsche Morocco received one of each.
The 911 Spirit 70 is the third with the fourth and final Heritage Design strategy model yet to be announced.
The Heritage Design strategy is a unique series of limited-edition models from Exclusive Manufaktur that reinterpret iconic 911 models from the 1950s to the 1980s, reviving classic design features from those decades and presenting them in a contemporary form.
Based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, just 1,500 examples of the 911 Spirit 70 Special Edition will be built and is identified with the help of iconographic design elements from earlier vehicles, historically inspired decorative graphics and is finished in an exclusive Olive Neo colour with the legendary Pasha pattern for the interior.

This model blends retro-inspired design with modern engineering, celebrating Porsche’s heritage in a truly unique way,” said Sébastien Poncet, the Brand Manager of Porsche Morocco.
Further options fitted to Build Number 130 of 1,500 for Porsche Morocco include gold-plated badging and titanium sport exhaust tailpipes. It now joins the Cherry Metallic Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition of 2020 of which just 992 examples were made and the Sport Grey Metallic 911 Sport Classic from 2022 which is one of only 1,250 that makes up Porsche Morocco’s ‘Icons of Cool’ collection.
Its distinctively rich, deep green colour of Olive Neo was made specifically for the 911 Spirit 70 to provide an exciting contrast with the grey-gold hues of Bronzite that flanks the lower rear section, front section as well as the Sport Classic wheels in ‘Fuchs’ design. The soft top is black, as is the windscreen frame to emphasise its unique visual presence.
