The locally-assembled Cayenne: the most desired part of the day.

For creative-minded couple Shalma Ainaa and Wan Immar Izzat, the locally assembled Porsche Cayenne isn’t just a ride – it’s the catalyst for more adventures.

Some mornings begin quietly. Others begin with a simple question: who gets the Malaysian-assembled Porsche Cayenne for the day? Because once one drives it, they end up fighting for the wheel. For couple Shalma Ainaa and Wan Immar Izzat, that question becomes a playful chase, a tug-of-war centred around the Porsche Cayenne.

Sometimes Imar gets ahead, heading off before the sun rises. Other times Shalma moves faster, slipping out with the Cayenne before he notices. It’s never competitive. Just pure desire. Because the Cayenne makes every journey better — more comfortable, more capable, more enjoyable. Not because they need it but because they genuinely want it.

Designed for days that never look the same

“I’m always on the move. From brand shoots to running my lifestyle label, I need a companion that keeps pace — and one that can carry everything from mannequins to fabric rolls. That’s why the Cayenne fits so naturally into my life,” shares Shalma Ainaa.

A designer who helms the fashion brand SHALS, Shalma moves between creative sessions, fittings, and fast-paced days. She values how the Cayenne adapts seamlessly — refined enough for everyday drives, yet powerful enough to feel special every time she takes the wheel.

“The design is timeless. I’ve driven many generations of the Cayenne, and it has always performed like a sports car SUV should. As an architect, I appreciate the strong design language of the Cayenne – instantly recognisable as a Porsche, always commanding attention”, shared Wan Imar Izzat, husband of Shalma Ainaa and an architect with an impeccable love for design.

Assembled in Malaysia, the Cayenne is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6, delivering 353 PS and 500 Nm of torque. Acceleration is smooth yet purposeful, while the updated Porsche Driver Experience with a highly digitalized display and control concept, enhances the safety and comfort of occupants, while also optimising the driving experience.

Fitted with the Exclusive Manufaktur Package, the Cayenne showcases a more distinctive, sportier presence. From the Sport Design front apron with its pronounced air intakes and C-blades, to the Sport Design side sill panels and wheel arch trims painted in matching body colour to a Sport Design roof spoiler, partially finished in high-gloss black, adds contrast, while the rear lower section with diffuser reinforces the Cayenne’s sporty look.

A subtle detail completes the experience: integrated exit courtesy lights in both the driver and passenger doors project an illuminated white ‘PORSCHE’ logo onto the ground.

And if you opt for special terrain, the Macan 4S offers an increase in ground clearance of 40 millimeters. The optional off-road design package offers an approach angle of up to 17.4 degrees at the front of our vehicle. It’s unanimous: these 4x4 options are a game changer. The Macan can now navigate the terrain with confidence and ease. From the front seats, we can see how wild the tracks become, but don’t feel any strain in the chassis or the drive.

The best adventures are unplanned

The Cayenne is built for moments that aren’t planned — but rather the unforgettable moments discovered along the way. When Shalma takes an unexpected detour — part paved, part loose gravel, it’s spontaneous, but she knows the Cayenne easily adapts. With the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) which comes as standard, the Cayenne constantly adjusts damping for stability and comfort, especially when road surfaces shift, making steep lanes, muddy shortcuts or uneven trails feel completely natural.

The Malaysian-assembled Cayenne is further enhanced with an elevated standard equipment package tailored for everyday life. Features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Sport Chrono Package, soft-close doors, and preparation for rear seat entertainment enhance both comfort and convenience — reinforcing its ability to move seamlessly between spontaneous detours and the demands of daily driving.

Understanding the appeal of the Cayenne, a second Cayenne, driven by Shalma enters their lifestyle, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe, delivering high levels of luxury, dynamic performance and efficiency. Taking up the iconic silhouette of the 911, the design impressively emphasises the sportiness of the coupé model.

Its mix of electric serenity and the strength of a V6 paired with a 130kW motor gives it a presence that feels intentional and quietly powerful.

With 519 PS of power, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé combines the dynamic demands of the Cayenne S with the progressive drive concept of the Cayenne E-Hybrid, allowing for superior driving performance in both electric and combustion engine mode, yet the feeling is unmistakably Porsche.
