Bahrain | As part of a broader race programme that included notable feature races such as the Bahrain Jewellery Centre Cup, Porsche Bahrain sponsored two races, the Porsche Cup and the Porsche Sprint Race, each reflecting a distinct expression of performance and competition.
The Porsche Cup, run over 2400 metres, served as a showcase of endurance, power, and tactical mastery. Open to imported horses under handicap conditions, the race featured a total prize fund of BHD 3,000, reinforcing its standing within the race day calendar. The race was won by Channagide, ridden by Abdulla Faisal and trained by Jaber Ramadhan, following a commanding performance that highlighted stamina and consistency over distance.
Complementing it was the Porsche Sprint Race (1200m), a shorter-format contest emphasizing acceleration, responsiveness, and precision. The race was claimed by Deham, ridden by Hasan Ali and trained by Yousif Taher, delivering a dynamic display of speed that thrilled spectators and reflected Porsche’s performance-driven DNA.
Hosted within the wider race day programme at Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club, the event welcomed Porsche clients and invited guests to experience horseracing in an environment that celebrates tradition, craftsmanship, and competitive excellence.
