Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi installs its first Manthey Performance Kit on a 911 GT3 RS

Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain has become one of the first Porsche Centres in the region to install the Manthey Performance Kit on a 911 GT3 RS reinforcing its commitment to deliver factory-approved, track enhanced upgrades for its most passionate drivers.

Abu Dhabi | Porsche Abu Dhabi and Al Ain has announced its first installation of the highly sought-after Manthey Performance Kit on a 911 GT3 RS, marking a significant achievement which reflects both its technical capability and brand leadership.

The Manthey Kit significantly improves aerodynamics, chassis response and overall driving dynamics on an already outstanding, class-leading package and all with full road legality.

“We are proud to be among the first Porsche Centres in the region to install the Manthey Performance Kit on the 911 GT3 RS,” said Patrick Wolfram, Aftersales Manager, Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The Manthey Performance Kit demonstrates Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain’s ability to tailor exclusive accessories to the most extreme levels and shows its leadership in innovation and technical excellence.

Extensive modifications to the aerodynamics makes the Manthey Kit immediately recognisable. The spoiler lip has a new wing profile and is significantly enlarged, supported by carbon fibre reinforcing elements. Together with redesigned wheel arch Gurney flaps and dive planes on each side of the front bumper, the lip increases downforce over the front axle.

The rear window is replaced by a 25-per-cent lighter carbon fibre panel and a carbon fibre shark fin derived from the World Sportscar Championship-winning 963 for increased cornering stability.

This milestone highlights Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi’s leadership in high performance service excellence, with installations carried out by Porsche-certified technicians, offering customers the highest standards of authenticity, safety and performance.

“This achievement reflects our team’s technical expertise and our ongoing commitment to delivering motorsport-levels of performance with the precision and assurance of a Porsche-certified installation. It demonstrates Porsche Abu Dhabi’s commitment to bringing world-class enhancements to the local Porsche community,” said Patrick.

A split carbon fibre DRS wing element, as well as a significantly widened rear diffuser and carbon fibre ‘aerodisc’ wheel covers that cut air resistance all combine to increase downforce, producing more than 1,000kg at 285 km/h.

Other modifications include semi-active coil-over suspension with spring rates increased by 30 per cent on the front and by 15 per cent on the rear as well as racing brake pads and steel-sheathed brake lines for those with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB). These additions optimise the car for track days and complement visual touches that can be customised to an individual’s personal requirements.
