The Porsche World Road Show visits India at the Buddh International Circuit

Porsche India welcomed the Porsche World Road Show to the Buddh International Circuit for 10 days where guests experienced the full range of models under guidance of Porsche AG’s experts.

India | Porsche India recently hosted the Porsche World Road Show for 10 successful days at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida.

From May 21 to May 30, more than 350 participants experienced the complete Porsche lineup - from the iconic GT cars to latest electric vehicles across a variety of driving environments.

The Porsche World Road Show is an exclusive event where Porsche enthusiasts can enjoy and explore many different driving experiences such as handling, slalom, acceleration and off-roading.

The road show is designed to provide participants the opportunity to experience the full dynamics of Porsche’s models in a safe and controlled space, guided by certified Porsche driving instructors.

“We have been excited to host this global event in India. The Porsche World Road Show offers a truly immersive experience, allowing guests to engage with the full Porsche range beyond the showroom,” said Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director, Porsche India.

“This event has been designed to allow participants to feel the precision, performance and the emotions which define the Porsche brand and with more than 350 people attending the event across nearly two weeks of track activities, proves it has been exceptionally well-received by everyone who took part,” said Vujicic.

Giving existing and potential owners an opportunity to explore the full potential of each model on track with the assistance of Porche AG’s professional driving team, allowed participants the chance to experience the full potential of the entire Porsche range.

Iconic GT cars including the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the Cayman 718 GT4 RS and 718 Spyder RS were available to test on the Hermann Tilke-designed, 5.12km track that was home to the Indian Formula One Grand Prix for three years from 2011.

In addition to lapping the famed track, guests also pushed their cars to the limit in braking tests which demonstrated the latest advances in electronic brake distribution, Porsche’s Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system and its PASM sports suspensions well as slalom and handling tests that gave them a sample of Porsche’s advancements handling technologies such as Porsche’s Torque Vectoring Plus.

An off-road course was set-up for participants to experience the latest Cayenne models across challenging terrain.

Separately, electric vehicle enthusiasts had the opportunity to test drive the latest Taycan and Macan BEV models on the racetrack.

“Hosting the Porsche World Road Show in India demonstrates Porsche’s strong commitment to the Indian market and its rapidly growing community of enthusiasts.” said Vujicic.
