Porsche Tour and Ftour: From a scenic drive to the reveal of the new 911 Carrera T over Iftar

Porsche Morocco invited its 911 customers to a day of driving alongside Porsche Club members, followed by a special Ftour and exclusive reveal of the new driver-focused, manual transmission-only, 911 Carrera T in the country.

Morocco | The Porsche 911 is designed for maximum driver enjoyment but for more than 55 years, the T badge on the Porsche 911 Carrera has stood not only for touring but also for pure driving pleasure achieved through a lightweight construction, an emotional sound, characteristic design and a manual transmission. So it seemed fitting that Porsche Morocco should invite its 911 customers for a special drive around the Benslimane/Rommani region renowned for its winding roads to conclude with Ftour, or Iftar and break their fast as they previewed the latest 911 Carrera T at Porsche Centre Casablanca.

“With the Porsche ‘Tour & Ftour,’ we offered our 911 customers a glimpse into the Porsche Club lifestyle, where passion for driving meets a strong sense of community. The success of the event ensures many more to come,” said Sebastien Poncet, the Brand Manager of Porsche Morocco.

“The new 911 Carrera T embodies the essence of pure driving pleasure and what better way to introduce it than after a day spent exploring the joys of the open road,” he added.

The drive gave its 911 customers the chance to experience some of the benefits of being a Porsche Club Member with exclusive access to new model reveals as well as create a connection and make personal contacts, which in this case, featured a live Andalusian concert to herald the arrival of the Carrera T in both Coupe and for the first time, Cabriolet form.

The 911 Carrera T offers an emotive sound and a responsive connection to the road through its twin-turbocharged, 3.0-litre, 394 PS, six-cylinder boxer engine and six-speed manual transmission.

It features Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) which enhances vehicle dynamics and stability by applying brake pressure to the rear wheels in conjunction with a diff lock. When combined with its rear axle steering and weight saving construction including lightweight windows and reduced insulation, the Porsche 911 Carrera T delivers outstanding traction and agility.
