Lebanon | The second generation of the popular Porsche Macan SUV has arrived at the Porsche Centre Lebanon, a decade after the release of the ground-breaking original model.

In keeping with the significance of a new model after 10 years, the all-new Macan is Porsche’s first fully-electric SUV debuting as a 100 per cent electric range which delivers up to 300 kW (408 PS) of overboost power from the Macan 4 when used in combination with Launch Control and 470 kW (639 PS) from the Macan Turbo with a maximum torque of 650 Nm and 1,130 Nm respectively.

Porsche Centre Lebanon welcomed customers, media and potential customers to two Open Days at its Beirut Studio where guests were welcomed to discover the Macan 4 in Aventurine Green Metallic and a Macan Turbo in Jet Black Metallic.

“The electric vehicle market is growing at a pace in Lebanon and together with Taycan and now new Macan, Porsche Centre Lebanon is making a positive contribution to the electrification of the performance and prestige sectors of the Lebanese car market,” the Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Centre Lebanon, Mr. Assaad Raphael said.

“Porsche’s role in developing the electric vehicle market worldwide continues to grow with models like the Macan that opens up a window for new customers to both EVs and Porsches,” he added.

The new Macan 4 accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h while the Macan Turbo covers the same distance in just 3.3 seconds and tops out at 260 km/h.
