The e-Performance Days showcased the capabilities of Porsche electric vehicles in various conditions. Journalists had the opportunity to test the latest generation Porsche Taycan and, for the first time in Poland, the all-electric Porsche Macan.
Journalists took part in track drives that allowed them to check the performance of the Taycan. The programme also included a slalom drive with the Macan, demonstrating the driving characteristics of the electric SUV. Additionally, a Taycan drift training session showcased the control of the electric drive in extreme conditions.
Porsche also presented two iconic models for static display: the Mission R and the 99X Electric. The Mission R, an all-electric concept race car, gives a glimpse into Porsche's vision for future customer motorsports. Similarly, the 99X Electric, the race car of the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, was on display, highlighting the brand's commitment to top-tier electric motorsports.
Lap record in the GT4 e-Performance
A milestone was achieved during the event when Austrian racing driver Klaus Bachler set a new lap record at Silesia Ring. Piloting the prototype Porsche GT4 e-Performance, Bachler completed a lap in an impressive 1:33.319 minutes.
Concluding the event, journalists were invited to participate in exhilarating taxi rides with professional drivers. They could choose between the Porsche GT4 ePerformance with Klaus Bachler or the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package, driven by a Porsche instructor.
Wojciech Grzegorski, Managing Director of Porsche Poland, remarked: "The e-Performance Days are a great opportunity to present our comprehensive electrification strategy. From high-performance road cars to cutting-edge racing concepts, we aim to combine Porsche's dynamic character with modern, electric powertrains across all aspects of our brand."
