Porsche Moments

Launched by Porsche in 2022, the “Join the Porsche Ride” initiative travels to various destinations on five continents. The company aims to assume social responsibility and set up educational and support programs that are oriented toward local needs. A Taycan acts as an ambassador and driving force. The aim of the initiative is to promote environmental protection, improve working and living conditions, and strengthen social cohesion. On the seventh leg of its journey, the Taycan reached the town of Kulim in northern Malaysia. Working with Porsche Asia Pacific, Porsche Malaysia, the Inokom Corporation, and the local NGO Free Tree Society, Porsche AG recently introduced a program for children at a public elementary school here. Under the motto “We empower people,” activities include planting a mini jungle and recycling different materials found in everyday school life. Through the project, the school itself is to be expanded to create a recycling hub for the community. The children apply their new knowledge in their personal lives and share it with their families – an extraordinary learning experience that strengthens their connection to the community and society. The program will be expanded to further locations throughout Malaysia in 2025.
