Fading effects and contrasting colours corresponding to the exterior, as well as the perfect craftsmanship, make the interior of the Panamera truly unique. Humidors and sparkling wine coolers are exemplary for the possibility of realizing even exceptionally luxurious ideas in the interior.
Sonderwunsch: Highest precision and attention to detail
"The interior of the Panamera Turbo 'Sonderwunsch' embodies our passion for making every customer's personal dream a reality with the highest precision and attention to detail," says Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualisation and Classic. "Gradients and contrasting colours pick up on the design of the exterior and create an interior that combines elegant design and the highest level of craftsmanship."
The most striking external feature of the inspiration model is the fading effect of its two-tone paintwork: the colour "Leblon Violet Metallic" merges smoothly into a black plain tone in the lower third of the body. The interior ties in with a subtle colour gradient from black to the metallic "Sunset Red", which can be found on the seat centres, the parcel shelf and the boarding folder. For a high-quality effect with a depth effect, flakes coated with real gold are integrated into the clear coat, analogous to the body of the Panamera Turbo "Sonderwunsch". The loading sill protector is made of black painted metal.
The contrasting colour "Avium Metallic", developed especially for this Sonderwunsch project, builds a further bridge between the exterior and the interior. In the exterior design, this colour is used on the pinstripes, the front surfaces of the alloy wheels and on the frames of the side windows. In the interior, numerous features are also in "Avium", including the "Sonderwunsch" lettering on the trim of the centre console, the switches there as well as the border and hands of the Sport Chrono display. The ring of the Drive Mode switch and the trim strips, door openers and speaker grilles of the door panels as well as the piping of the seats are also avium-colored.
The dashboard and door panels are finished in black leather and have double cross-cut stitching in "barrique red". The door panels are adorned with elements made of black-dyed chestnut wood. The badges on the front seats are a highlight in the interior and at the same time intended as inspiration for customers: as a homage to the places where the Panamera was developed and produced, they bear the geographical coordinates of the two Porsche locations in Zuffenhausen (driver's side) and Leipzig (passenger's side). The seat belts are finished in "barrique red".
Concept details such as humidor and sparkling wine cooler
The amount of attention to detail with which even unusual wishes can be realised is illustrated by two concept furnishings created in the design studio. In the cigar humidor, cedar wood inlay and hygrometer ensure optimal humidity at all times. The humidor sits in the storage compartment of the center console and a glass cover provides a view of the noble smokes. The removable insert contains high-quality accessories such as a lighter and cigar cutter.
Another example of a potential equipment detail is the illuminated sparkling wine cooler. Integrated into the rear seat, it offers space for a small bottle and two glasses that can be placed in the armrest. The components are painted avium-colored, and the actual bottle cage made of black leather is embossed with "Sonderwunsch" lettering. The Porsche crest on the armrest is executed in "Turbonit".
Fully feather-covered trunk and loading sill protection with gold flakes
The trunk is fully lined in leather, which further emphasizes the luxurious character. Metal inserts protect against scratches from luggage, their black anodized strips are framed in the color "Avium".
The interior is complemented by door sill trims made of brushed black aluminium with white illuminated "Sonderwunsch" lettering. The key case made of black leather with stitching in "Avium" and embossed Porsche crest as well as the charging cable bag made of black leather with stitching in "Barrique Red" round off the extensive individualisation of the interior.
