A 911 GT3 RS from Porsche Sonderwunsch brings together uncompromising performance, elegant design and exceptional craftsmanship. Inspired by the world of haute couture, the car appears in a distinctly bespoke form, defined by deep colours and precisely judged accents that lend it a quietly confident presence on any road. The project was realised in close collaboration between Porsche Centre Geneva and Porsche Sonderwunsch in Zuffenhausen, offering a compelling illustration of the breadth and depth of Porsche’s individualisation offer.
Subtle contrasts
The design began with a clear ambition: to create a 911 GT3 RS that captures the finer nuances of haute couture – not only in appearance, but also in the way it performs. The result is a deliberate tension between the car’s uncompromising engineering and a warm, restrained aesthetic. Careful attention was given to the interplay between the 911’s sharp lines, exposed carbon elements and selected metallic tones. Rather than relying on overt flourishes, the design works through nuance – light, texture and reflection. The chosen body colour is a deep Macadamiametallic from the Paint to Sample range, paired with carbon components whose clear coat has been infused with brown pigments, developed exclusively for this project.
Characteristic details complete the exterior. The rear wing in tinted carbon is subtly highlighted by Weissach branding on the side plates, along with an orange Porsche lettering that adds a measured flash of colour. A detail in Pastelorange appears in the accent rings of the LED headlights. Inside, the same design philosophy continues, with a carefully balanced palette of brown and orange tones. Truffle Brown leather and Race‑Tex form the foundation, contrasted by orange decorative stitching. Numerous thoughtfully selected details come together to create a cohesive and quietly assured overall impression.
Unique craftsmanship
At Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme, individualisation is taken down to the finest detail. Using numerous components created specifically for this project, a truly unique vehicle based on the modern 911 GT3 RS series model was created through meticulous craftsmanship. In its design language, its uniqueness and the care invested in its creation, clear parallels emerge with the world of haute couture. Exterior and interior were meticulously aligned to achieve a cohesive interplay of materials, colours and surfaces. Every detail bears the signature of experienced manufactory specialists and adheres uncompromisingly to the exacting quality standards that define every Porsche.
About the Sonderwunsch Programme
Porsche is reinterpreting the legendary Sonderwunsch programme from the late 1970s and making personalised one-off creations possible – co-created with the customer and professionally realised by Porsche.
The offering for new vehicles includes the integration of bespoke Sonderwunsch options directly within the production process. One highlight available to customers when ordering their vehicle is Paint to Sample Plus: based on the customer’s individual wishes, Porsche creates and develops a unique exterior colour.
Subsequent vehicle refinement is also possible. Customers can completely redesign their vehicle’s interior and exterior or, as part of the Sonderwunsch Factory Re-Commission offering, create technically highly individual pieces with the support of Porsche’s dedicated development and design team. For older vehicles, this offering always includes restoration, which can still also be commissioned separately.
