Porsche presents two new eBike models

Porsche is expanding its eBike range with two new models. Based on the existing portfolio, two new models have been created in collaboration with eBike specialist Rotwild that will get hearts racing both on asphalt and on the trail.

This spring, two new models of the successful Porsche eBike range will enter the race: the Porsche eBike Cross Performance for the highest demands on chassis performance and braking power, and the Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC in six original Porsche vehicle colors. The Porsche eBike Cross has already been on the market for two years – guaranteeing sporty action and maximum comfort off road.

Even more adrenaline kicks and thrills can now be enjoyed with the new Porsche eBike Cross Performance, whose Fox Factory suspension in combination with the new, powerful Shimano EP-801 motor and 630 WH battery ensures maximum performance on the trail. Both uphill and downhill, the electric 12-speed Shimano rear derailleur always delivers the right gear. The EP‑801 motor offers two riding profiles: Profile 1 offers the three support modes Eco, Trail, and Boost, while in the Fine Tune Mode of Profile 2 up to 15 support parameters can be individually set.

The Auto Shift function shifts the system independently, while the Free Shift function allows shifting without crank movement. The MT7 brake system from Magura, with a powerful four-piston caliper made of forged aluminum, ensures optimum deceleration. And the Fox 34 Float Factory suspension fork offers first-class comfort – with 120 mm of travel in conjunction with the Fox Float DPS Factory air shock with 100 mm of travel in the rear. The Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Carbon wheel set provides directional stability with a different spoke tension on the front and rear wheel. The B220 Flatriser 35 handlebar from Rotwild is made of carbon and is 780 mm wide. The carbon frame – whose design was inspired by the sporty sloping roofline or “flyline” of the Porsche 911 and the Porsche Taycan – is adorned with performance lettering in a matching Fox Factory color scheme.

The Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC is designed to meet individualized requirements and exudes true craftsmanship, thanks to select colors from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. There is a choice of Star Ruby Neo, Ice Gray Metallic, Mamba Green Metallic, Carmine Red, Shade Green Metallic, and Shark Blue – vivid, partly historic variants that enjoy cult status among Porsche fans.

Updates and New Colors for eBike Sport and eBike Cross

Parallel to the launch of the new models, the existing Sport and Cross models have been enhanced with updates and new colors as well. Both models will also be powered by the Shimano EP-801 motor in the future. The eBike Sport will be upgraded with a Shimano XT DI2 12-speed rear derailleur with Free Shift function. The sporty all-rounder, which feels particularly at home in urban areas, is now available in black. The Cross eBike, designed for off-road use, now comes in silver. Both colors are available as metallic variants.
