MONTEREY, Calif. Customer racing team JDC-Miller MotorSports drove their No. 5 Porsche 963 to an overall victory today at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, topping the factory efforts in the GTP class with drivers Laurin Heinrich and Tijmen van der Helm. The result marks the first win for the team in its campaign in the current GTP class.
Heinrich made a last-lap pass around the No. 31 Cadillac to score victory, just the second podium for JDC-Miller MotorSports in the GTP era and the first since 2024.
Heinrich, who co-drove the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 to victory at Daytona and Sebring to open the season, now leads the driver’s championship in points. This is his third consecutive victory at Laguna Seca, following wins in the Porsche 911 GT3 R with AO Racing in 2024 and 2025.
AO Racing finished in third place in the GTD Pro class with Nick Tandy and Harry King behind the wheel. The Porsche Penske Motorsport 963s finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
