South Africa | Sunday 02 June saw an early start to Porsche Centre Cape Town’s annual classic breakfast run event.

A total of 24 classic Porsches took part, including a 356 coupe, an immaculate transaxle 944 turbo and plethora of air-cooled 911’s, with a beautiful 993 GT2.

After meeting at the dealership, our tour headed out on picturesque, winding back roads to finish at the quaint village of Riebeek-Kasteel, where everyone was treated to a memorable breakfast. The warmth and camaraderie created by our breakfast run was palpable.

This event also provided Porsche Cape Town Classic the opportunity to carry out the inaugural drive of our nut and bolt restoration 911, named Project Julia.

Julia is a 1970 911 E that was rescued by the dealership in 2015 and this when the painstaking restoration bare metal process began in earnest.

Hundreds of man hours and literally millions of rands later, this beautiful matching numbers 911 is testimony to the commitment, the skill and dedication of our Classic team. We could not have been prouder.
