Porsche Philippines marked its 30th anniversary of Porsche importership in 2026 with the launch of a unique 911 Targa 4 GTS, created in collaboration with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The special car marked not only three decades of Porsche passion in the country, but combined artisanal craftsmanship, Porsche heritage and the marque's latest T-Hybrid technology in a specification inspired by the colours of a vibrant nation.
The anniversary was commemorated with an intimate media and customer luncheon, where a special anniversary token was presented by Porsche Asia Pacific to Porsche Philippines. Following official addresses and a celebratory toast, Porsche Philippines unveiled the special 911 Targa 4 GTS and the new 911 Turbo S, before guests gathered to discover the new sports cars up close.
Since becoming the official representative of Porsche in the Philippines in 1996, Porsche Philippines has helped shape one of Southeast Asia's most passionate Porsche communities. But rather than commemorating the anniversary with a retrospective design, Porsche Philippines chose to celebrate the future. The result is a unique 911 Targa 4 GTS that reflects the optimism, individuality and ambition that continue to define both Porsche and the Philippine market.
"This anniversary car celebrates an important milestone for Porsche Philippines. The combination of Paint to Sample, Heritage Design elements and the latest T-Hybrid technology reflects our desire to mark 30 years of Porsche passion in the Philippines while looking confidently towards the future. Created through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, we also highlight the individuality and personalisation that continue to resonate strongly with Porsche customers in our market," said Mr. Roberto Coyiuto III, President and CEO of Porsche Philippines.
Inspired by a Philippine sunrise
The highlight of this anniversary special is a Paint to Sample exterior finish in Pastelorange, a colour selected specifically for the country. Inspired by the vibrant hues of a tropical Philippine island sunrise, the shade symbolises both the remarkable journey of Porsche Philippines over the past three decades and the exciting road that lies ahead.
Equally significant was the decision to base the anniversary special on the new 911 Targa 4 GTS, the first Targa to feature Porsche's innovative T-Hybrid system.
The lightweight and powerful T-Hybrid system utilises an electric exhaust gas turbocharger, with an integrated electric motor placed between the compressor and turbine wheel, instantaneously bringing the turbocharger up to speed and effectively eliminating the classic ‘turbo lag’.
The powertrain also includes a permanent magnet synchronous motor integrated into the new, more powerful eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), supporting the engine with up to 150 Nm torque and providing a power boost of up to 40 kW.
Porsche couples both electric motors to a lightweight and compact 1.9 kWh 400V battery.
Together with a newly developed 3.6-litre boxer engine, the T-Hybrid system delivers an output of 398 kW (541 PS) and 610 Nm, an increase of 45 kW (61 PS) over the previous generation GTS.
By combining heritage, performance and future-oriented technology, this anniversary 911 Targa 4 GTS represents a uniquely Porsche Philippine-interpretation of freedom behind the wheel. For a country defined by scenic coastlines, mountain roads and memorable journeys, it provided the ideal canvas for the anniversary special.
Heritage Meets the Future
Inside, the anniversary car creates a dialogue between Porsche's past and future. A Heritage Design Package Pasha introduces the iconic “chequered flag” pattern seen on Porsche sports cars of the late 1970s and early 1980s, while extensive orange contrast stitching links the interior to the exterior colour theme, applied throughout the cabin, including the seat consoles, interior mirror panel and trim elements, creating a consistent visual identity unique to this commission.
Additional Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur details such as the leather dashboard and door trims with contrast orange stitching, aluminium pedals and a Burmester High-End Surround Sound System further distinguish the car as a special anniversary creation.
Like the vibrant nation that inspired its creation, the special 911 Targa 4 GTS anniversary car marks not only a celebration of Porsche Philippines' first 30 years, but also the beginning of its next chapter. It is a tribute to the customers, enthusiasts, staff and partners who have shaped the brand's journey in the country, and a reflection of the exciting road that still lies ahead.
The superior all-rounder returns to the Philippines
Alongside the specially commissioned 911 Targa 4 GTS anniversary car, Porsche Philippines also introduces the new 911 Turbo S to the local market. Long regarded as the benchmark among high-performance sports cars, the latest Turbo S further enhances its unique combination of everyday usability, long-distance comfort and outstanding performance.
At its heart is a significantly evolved version of Porsche's innovative T-Hybrid technology. Featuring a newly developed 3.6-litre boxer engine, twin electrically assisted turbochargers and an integrated electric motor within the eight-speed PDK transmission, the new powertrain delivers 711 PS and 800 Nm of torque, making the latest 911 Turbo S the most powerful series-production 911 Turbo ever. The result is extraordinary performance, enhanced responsiveness and the everyday usability that has defined the Turbo for generations.
Extensive engineering updates across the chassis, aerodynamics, brakes and tyres ensure the additional performance translates directly to the road and track. For the first time, the 911 Turbo S features electro-hydraulically controlled Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) as standard. Enabled by the 400-volt high-voltage electrical architecture of the T-Hybrid system, ehPDCC actively counteracts body roll through electronically controlled active stabilisers, improving agility, increasing stability and enhancing ride comfort.
This system is complemented by revised aerodynamics, wider rear tyres and the largest Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system ever fitted to a two-door Porsche production model, helping the new Turbo S achieve a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time approximately 14 seconds faster than its predecessor.
The new 911 Turbo S also introduces a more distinctive design language with Turbo-exclusive Turbonite accents, enhanced aerodynamics and an upgraded standard equipment package that includes HD Matrix LED headlights, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Sport Chrono Package and a titanium sports exhaust system.
