Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East wraps up Abu Dhabi round at Yas Marina Circuit

Abi Dhabi | Hosted at Abu Dhabi’s iconic Formula 1 circuit, the weekend offered guests access to the world of Porsche motorsport, from grid walks and paddock experiences to customer driving sessions on the same track used by Carrera Cup competitors.

The programme opened with customer arrivals, followed by Porsche Carrera Cup free practice and qualifying sessions, before the focus shifted to Porsche’s heritage. Members of the Porsche Classic Car UAE community took centre stage, continuing their long-standing tradition of participating in the Abu Dhabi round with a classic car parade, photo session and exclusive track time, creating a powerful visual link between Porsche’s racing legacy and its modern motorsport platform.

As night fell, the action intensified with Porsche Carrera Cup Race 1, delivering wheel-to-wheel racing under the lights, followed by the podium ceremony, hospitality and brand experiences across the paddock.

The final race day featured the second qualifying session, an exclusive grid walk for guests, and Race 2, where Robert de Haan claimed victory to close the Abu Dhabi round. Following the race, the focus shifted from spectating to participation, with Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi hosting dedicated customer track sessions, including familiarisation laps and open-pit lane driving, all conducted under Porsche safety and vehicle approval standards.

Beyond the track, guests enjoyed a complete Porsche brand environment, including official merchandise, racing simulators and family-friendly activities throughout the venue.
